Appolonia City, Ghana’s premier urban development, is set to participate in the 4th edition of the Black History Festival (BHF 2025) in Atlanta, Georgia in the US.
The event will be held at Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in College Park City on 28 & 29 March, 2025, celebrating African heritage, fostering economic collaboration to strengthen ties between Africa, the Caribbean and the diaspora.
Priscilla Wepia Ametame, Legal Counsel for Appolonia City, will represent the city at the festival. As a model for modern urban planning in West Africa, Appolonia City promotes sustainable development and global partnerships while showcasing investment opportunities in Ghana’s real estate and infrastructure sectors.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the Black History Festival 2025,” said Perminas Marisi – Country Head for Appolonia City. “This platform provides us a unique opportunity to share Appolonia City’s contribution to urban development in Ghana. With our parent company Rendeavour building seven cities from the ground up across five African countries – Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we are happy to invite the diaspora to join us celebrate Africa’s growth story.”
Appolonia City is set to highlight investment opportunities in Africa’s real estate sector. With its mixed-use development model—featuring residential communities, commercial hubs, and social infrastructure—it exemplifies Ghana’s commitment to sustainable urbanisation.
The festival will feature panel discussions, business expos, cultural showcases and networking sessions discussion and collaboration. The festival will also feature the prestigious Black History Makers Awards Gala on the evening of March 29, recognising distinguished leaders in business, culture and public service.
Adding to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere, there will be performances from cultural groups, including the Senegalese Association in the USA and the Ghana Dance Association, along with a special appearance by Ghanaian music icon Samini.
Appolonia City invites festival attendees to visit its exhibition booth to learn more about its city projects and investment opportunities.
