Members of secessionist group allegedly attack STC, burn down one bus

A group of people suspected to be members of a seperatist group advocating for independence from Ghana for a Western Togoland territory have attacked the State Transport Coorpration in the Volta Regional capital, Ho, and set alight one of its buses.

The incident according to Citi News sources occurred around midnight on Monday.

The members of the group reportedly fired gun shots before proceeding to beat some drivers.

This is the latest incident by a group pushing for an independent Western Togoland following last Friday’s road blocks and attacks on two Police stations.

Meanwhile security has been intensified at the scene.
