The 10-day attempt to break the longest cooking record of all time at the modern city hotel in Tamale, has been brought to an end.
The initially scheduled 5 days cook-a-thon had to extend to its tenth day after the management team of chef Failatu Abdul Razak picked information of another person surpassing the 120 hours record of cooking.
At exactly 11:12 am, the crowd cheered and sang along to express their unending love and support for the mother of one who began the cooking process on 1st January 2024.
In all, she has cooked a total of 154 dishes in a spate of 227 hours.
Scores of supporters thronged the modern city hotel to witness the closing ceremony of the cook-a-thon.
