In a bid to strengthen and develop grassroots football at the district level, the Ho Municipal Football Association (HMFA) has organized a one-day workshop for media officers of Division Three (3) in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region.
The workshop seeks to equip club media officers on how to manage and attract a following to their club’s social media handles and share match day results from match centers.
This the leadership of HMFA believes will attract attention and essential support for district football development in the municipality.
Chairman of the Interim Management Committee, Selase Ken Bannor urged participants to leverage the impact of the workshop to make grassroots football attractive in the municipality.
“Let’s learn something new and make Ho Municipal Football attractive.”. He said.
Facilitators at the workshop include Mr. Raymond Kudjoe Tsiagbe, Miss Tilda Acorlor, and Emil Atando.
They took participants through topics such as “The Use of Social Media Flyers” “Match Day Updates and its Importance” and “Social Media Brands and Marketing” respectively.
Last week the HMFA under the leadership of a new IMC launched the Division Three(3) League for the first time and unveiled a new Logo.
The Municipal FA is being handled by a 5-member committee led by Ken Selase Bannor, other members are Nana Bodua, Emil Yao Atando, Lawrence Nyavor, and acting secretary, Manasseh Ned.
The IMC is currently in charge of the Municipality due to a pending petition that has caused a holdup on the chairmanship race in the municipality.
