
The third edition of the Luckiest seasonal draw, organised by GeniusLoci Limited and regulated by the National Lottery Authority (NLA), has come to an end with ticket number “00029” emerging the overall Luckiest winner of the ultimate GH¢2.5million cash prize.
The final draw held on Saturday (night) December 20, also saw other winners including those who won electronic gadgets and cash prizes.
The draw that opened in July this year had more than 850,000 entries on the platform, a double of the 2024’s entries.
Mr Dennis Adutwum, CEO of the Luckiest Africa, said the Luckiest raffle, which was in its third year running, had attracted a lot of patrons, adding that, the number of participants had increased from 170,000 in its first edition in 2023, to a million in 2025.
He said this was due to the increased community engagements and activations organised this year compared to its first and second seasons.
“This year was our grand positioning year, and so we were almost playing on every platform. Our commercials were everywhere and we couldn’t be more grateful for what we have achieved this year,” he added.
Mr Adutwum said the draw was a seasonal one, run once a year from July to December and ends at 1200 hours on the last Saturday to Christmas where winners are announced.
He added that in 2026, the company would improve upon its Corporate Social Responsibility, adding that a chunk of its profits would be geared towards improving livelihoods and communities.
Mr Kwabena Opoku Boakye, Marketing Manager, NLA, commended the Luckiest for supporting the NLA Good Caucus Foundation.
He said dividends made from the draw was used to support the Foundation to provide infrastructural and educational support for communities.
He added that as regulators they were content with the organisation of the draw, saying that it was done responsibly and in accordance with the rules and regulations governing such activity.
