Three remanded over theft of church’s musical instrument
Nkawie (Ash), Nov 19, GNA – Two farmers and a labourer, who broke into the Nkawie Pentecost Church and made away with some musical instruments, have been remanded into prison custody.
Kwaku Boamponsem, labourer, Yaw Manu and Kwadwo Owusu, both farmers, pleaded guilty when they appeared before the Nkawie Circuit Court.
They would re-appear on Tuesday, November 27.
Police Detective Sergeant Jonas Adjei told the that the crime was committed on September 23.
They broke into the church and stole a keyboard and an amplifier.
The prosecution said investigations led to the arrest of Manu, who mentioned Owusu and Boamponsem as the culprits.
