Accra, Feb. 03 GNA - The second Group B game between the Black Satellites of Ghana and Burkina Faso at the ongoing Confederation of African Football (CAF) Youth Championship, has been called off due to challenges with the flood light.
GNA Sports gathers that, officials of the organizing committee and CAF could not put the flood lights at the stadium up for use for the game scheduled for Sunday February 3, at the Stade de Maradi in Niger at 18 hours.
Coach Jimmy Cobblah’s boys are in Group B alongside Senegal and Mali, making it an all-West African Group.
The Black Satellites were to take on Senegal and Mali on February 6 and 9 at the Stade de Maradi and Stade General S. K. Naimey respectively, after their group opener with Burkina Faso.
Meanwhile CAF, is yet to announce a new date for the game.
