Accra, March 21, GNA - Adjoa Bayor, the former captain of the senior national female football team, the Black Queens and current player of Immigration Ladies has said, her years of experience in the game, helped her side to emerge victorious against Samaria Ladies on Wednesday at the Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC).
Immigration Ladies beat Samaria Ladies 1-0 at home in match-day four of the Normalisation Committee Special Women’s Competition.
Speaking to the media after the win, the one-time Africa women’s best player said, the coach corrected all their mistakes and they were focused and willing to claim victory on the pitch.
She added that their target for every game was to win, and they were now focusing on their next game against Police Ladies on Sunday at the St Thomas Aquinas Park.
The former Black Queens player said, she was out for while due to illness but she has recovered well and ready to help the team to deliver.
“I was playing with them but I went out because I was sick and now, I have recovered and ready to help the team to win”, she said.
Immigration Ladies will welcome Police Ladies in their next match and the 39-year-old believes her side would win.
