Accra, Dec 18, GNA - The 2nd edition of Ghana Energy Sector Annual Ball (GESAB) under the initiative of KW Consulting (KWC) is scheduled to take place next Friday at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra.
The GESAB is a memorable end of year gala that brings together players in the energy sector to foster and strengthen interpersonal relationships.
It also affords energy sector stakeholders the opportunity to build loyalty and celebrate work done, among other things, within the year.
A statement signed by Mr King A. Wellington, Chairman of the Organising Committee, and copied to the Ghana News Agency announcing the annual ball event said it would kick-off on 20th December 2019.
The 2019 event, the statement said, unlike last year’s which hosted stakeholders in only the petroleum upstream sector, has been expanded to include the entire energy value chain.
“This year’s event promises to be even more memorable as it would host players in the Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution as well as Petroleum Upstream and Downstream sub sectors,” it added.
The 2019 activity, which has been described as a black-tie event, according to the organisers, “is strictly by invitation.”
The statement also said the event has been “endorsed and approved” by the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Commission, Energy Commission, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, National Petroleum Authority, Association of Oil Marketing Companies, Chamber of Free Zones Companies, Public Utilities Regulatory Commission and Ghana Oil and Gas Service Providers Association.
