Ghanaian international Kassim Adams outshined his markers to inspire Swiss giants Young Boys to a 5-1 win over Portuguese side Benfica in a pre-season friendly.
Kassim, 22, a utility player who usually plays as a center back, lasted the entire duration of the game which gave Benfica a massive defeat as the Swiss side wrapped up their preparations for the Swiss league.
The 5-1 massive win over the Portuguese giants came at the back of a 2-2 stalemate with English Premier League side Stoke City, a game Kassim was hugely applauded.
The former Ghana U20 star has been a massive addition to the Swiss giants since joining them last season from Real Mallorca in Spain, guiding them to second place on the Swiss Super League table.
The ex-Medeama SC holding midfielder first joined on a year loan but after six months, the Swiss side opted for a permanent deal, signing him on for four years.
Young Boys will come head on with Swiss champions FC Basel as the Swiss Super League commences in a week.
