There are multiple reports in Italy claiming Serie A giants Inter Milan will make an offer for Bologna star Godfred Donsah.
Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting the deal could happen as early as the January transfer window.
It is understood Inter are willing to meet Bologna's valuation of the 21-year old midfielder despite the club's reluctance to sell months earlier.
Donsah has been in impressive form this season, once a Man-of-the-Match in the opening games of the season. That had followed a pattern of displays which made him one of the highly rated youngsters in Italian football.
He was at the triangle of the Torino-Bologna-Birmingham transfer saga in the summer which would have seen compatriot Afriyie Acquah moving and Donsah replacing him at Torino.
His transfer market value is thought to be around €10m to €12m and with Inter's new Chinese investors, it is possible a deal could be done for such a potentially priceless young talent.
Donsah joined Bologna from Calgliari in 2016 for €5m and the contract runs to the summer of 2020.
