Ghana striker Jordan Ayew was in full time action as Manchester United defeated his Swansea City side 2-0 in the Carabao Cup as the march to defend their silverware continues for the Red Devils.
Ayew could not prevent strike to prevent United who made their way through to the final eight of the Carabao Cup largely without incident, as they claimed a 2-0 victory thanks to two goals from Jesse Lingard.
His excellent finishes seemed to belong to a different game, as Swansea, with the exception of a couple of flourishes, offered little resistance.
United, who made seven changes from their defeat against Huddersfield, deserve credit for a dominant performance.

A much-changed United side controlled the tie and led at half-time as Marcus Rashford's deft back-heel allowed Jesse Lingard to score with a neat low finish.
The visitors doubled their lead in fine fashion after an hour, with a sweeping team move teeing up Lingard to head in his second.
Swansea, who had made eight changes themselves, offered precious little in attack as they succumbed to a fifth defeat from six home games this season.
