Arsenal legend Henry Thiery has hailed the heroics of Ghanaian international Eddie Nketia following his stupendous display for the Gunners in their 2-1 win over Norwich City in the Carabao Cup.
The 18-year-old striker came off the bench to rescue the Gunners against Norwich City, sending them through to the fifth round of the Carabao Cup, a feat that has sent the whole of England into a ecstatic mood.
The match-winning display of Nketiah against Norwich City forced the Arsenal legend to take to social media to celebrate the Ghanaian.
Nketiah, has scored nine goals in 20 appearances for the Arsenal's Under-23 team, and 15 goals in 16 outings for the Under-18s.
Amazingly, the youngster became the first player born after Arsene Wenger's appointment as Arsenal manager to score for the club.
Henry immediately took to Twitter to hail the 18-year-old for his heroics insisting he was not shocked by the boy’s rapturous display.
Nketiah has played for England at both Under-18 and Under-19 level, scoring seven goals in total for his country across both age groups.
The youngster is still eligible to play for the senior side of Ghana since he’s not played for the Three Lions yet.
