Ghanaian forward Joe Dodoo is set to stay at Scottish club Rangers as former Liverpool star Steven Gerard begins career as Coach at the Ibrox Park.
Joe Dodoo was reported to be leaving the club following lack of play time under former manager Graeme Murty.
Having joined from Leicester City, the young forward was expected to take the Scottish league by storm but lack of form and injuries ruined his first season in Scotland.
However, following the appointment of Steven Gerard as manager of the club, the Ghana International is likely to stay and establish himself as a key member of the new era.
Meanwhile, other players who might be leaving Rangers are veteran forward Kenny Miller, Wes Foderingham, James Tavernier, Josh Windass Alfredo Morelos, Lee Hodson, Fabio Cardoso, Andy Halliday and Eduardo Herrera.
The Liverpool legend begins work officially on Friday, June 1st and will asses the current squad to see if he will be making new additions.
According, Steven Gerard is looking at bringing in Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Jamie Murphy in the coming weeks.
Rangers finished third in the 2017/18 season and want to challenge Celtic for the title next season.
