Mountaineers FC Chief Executive Rainier Amankwah is pleading for competitive football to return in earnest.
All football competitions were put on hold in June after the airing of the Number 12 documentary in which come football officials were captured accepting bribes.
Amankwah, who is co-founder of the Kweiman-based Division Two side, laments the repercussions on club owners like himself.
''It's not been easy to keep players in a hostel for months, Provide them with the essential needs (foods, water, medicine, Electricity and paying other bills) on this Lads and still found ourselves in this Situation. We are much concerned and so disturbed of the harm caused,'' Amankwah told Accra-based Oman FM.
''It could be our best means of seeing our teams playing in effective leagues week in and out to see the development and progress of our players.
''But keeping them still without effective competition is something we still can't take it easy.''
