NorthEast United striker Asamoah Gyan says his work is beginning to show following an impressive start to life in the India Super League.
The 34-year-old has hit the ground running since joining the side in the summer on a free transfer.
The former Ghana captain has scored three goals so far and contributed several assists for the side.
And the iconic African star says his work is beginning to show.
“As a striker, I need to score and that is my job. If I have a bad season, it doesn’t mean that I am a bad player,” he told Outlook India.
“I have played in a lot of competitions and I see things in a game that a lot of young players don’t. I am not perfect but I have come here to help and I think my work here is beginning to show.”
