An integrity seminar for referees organised by the Ghana Football Association in conjunction with FIFA has started on Tuesday.
About 311 referees and assistant referees are attending the seminar for three days at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Gomoa Fetteh near Kasoa.
The exercise is for referees who will be officiating in the upcoming 2019/2020 football season comprising the Ghana Premier League, Division One, Women's League and other Cup competitions.
The seminar is being led by renowned retired Mauritian referee Lim Kee Chong, who is vice chairman of CAF's Referees Committee and also a member of FIFA’s Referees Committee.
The seminar is part of the Ghana Football Association's efforts to ensure that referees uphold integrity and professionalism in the new season
