Asante Kotoko coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed satisfaction with his team's defensive performance in their 1-0 win over Sekondi XI Wise in the MTN FA Cup round of 16.Defensively we looked very solid, Dr. Ogum said in a post-game interview, highlighting the team's ability to nullify Sekondi XI Wise's attacking threats.The win, courtesy of a Kyei Baffour strike in the first half, qualified Kotoko for the quarterfinals, where they will face True Democracy.However, Dr. Ogum also emphasized the need for improvement in the team's attacking play, particularly in converting scoring opportunities into goals.Offensively, there is a lot of creativity there, what is left is to put the ball at the back of the net.Kotoko will aim to build on their defensive solidity and improve their attacking efficiency when they return to Ghana Premier League action on Saturday, March 16, against FC Samartex in Samreboi.
