Former Ghana international Matthew Amoah has returned to his former side, NAC Breda, joining the club’s technical staff alongside former teammate Anouar Diba.
Both will focus on developing and training the team’s forwards and attacking unit.
NAC Breda’s technical director, Peter Maas, welcomed the appointments, saying, "With the addition of Matthew and Anouar, we're adding specific expertise to the current coaching staff.
"Both have been doing excellent and focused work with our youth players at the NAC Youth Academy for quite some time, and they'll now do the same with the first team."
The Dutch side currently sit at the bottom of the Eredivisie table with 13 points from 17 matches in the 2025/26 season.
Amoah, a striker for NAC between 2007 and 2011, scored 57 goals and provided 12 assists in more than 130 appearances.
Diba, meanwhile, made over 120 appearances for the club between 2002 and 2007, contributing 20 goals and 20 assists.
On the international stage, Amoah represented Ghana at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, finishing his national team career with 45 caps and 12 goals.
The new coaching duo will work closely with former Ghana captain Andre Ayew, who recently joined NAC Breda until the end of the season.
