Samartex midfielder Samed Kyei was left to rue missed chances following his outfit stalemate against Dreams FC in matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Timber Giants were forced to settle for a point after being held to a 0-0 draw by the Still Believe lads in the week 25 clash, staged at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi on Saturday.
Samartex went into the encounter eager to end their recent winless run, but they were unable to find the decisive breakthrough against a resilient Dreams side that stood firm throughout the contest.
Speaking after match, the 20-year-old midfielder, who was adjudged man of the match affirmed his outfit will fix their scoring deficiencies in order to grind results in subsequent matches.
“It was a very tough game for us. In the first half, we had several scoring opportunities but couldn’t convert them. With time, we will find a solution to our scoring deficiencies. We will shift our attention to our next game and ensure we grind out a positive result.” He said.
The result means Samartex extend their winless streak but maintain their impressive unbeaten home record in the league this season at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
For Dreams, the draw continues their encouraging run of form and provides a crucial point as they battle to move further away from the relegation zone in the closing stages of the campaign.
