Ghanaian forward Kevin Nyarko has joined Swedish Superettan League side Helsingborg IF.
The 24-year-old German-born signed a one-year deal to return to Sweden following a spell with Finnish outfit SJK Seinäjoki.
Nyarko, who previously started for IK Brage and Varbergs BoIS in Sweden, expressed excitement in returning to the Superettan league.
"I am very happy to come back to Sweden and to come to a big club so I am looking forward to getting started. I have heard many good things about the club from several different people who have been here," said the former Wolverhampton Wanderers youth star.
"Everyone has mentioned that it is a big club with many supporters and a city that really loves football. I was attracted by that passion. It is also fun to work with Stevie again, he taught me a lot during the time we worked together."
Helsingborg IF manager Stevie Grieve stressed the importance of signing Nyarko and shared his delight on reuniting with the striker.
"I know Kevin very well from our time together in Finland and know what he can contribute both on and off the pitch. He will complement our attacking line-up with his physicality and different playing style to the strikers we have in the squad. I am happy to work with him again and look forward to seeing him contribute on the pitch," said Grieve.
