Aduana FC defender Richard Yeboah has stressed that the team is determined to overcome Techiman Liberty in their upcoming clash in the MTN FA Cup quarter-final.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Yeboah acknowledged that the Premier League outfit head into the game as the favourites but insisted that they will not underrate the opponent simply because they are a lower division outfit.
“The training is going very well. We can defeat Techiman Liberty. They are a Division One team, and we are a Premier League team, but we won’t underrate them,” the defender told Aduana FC TV.
Richard Yeboah, in his interview, appealed to supporters to come to the stadium and cheer on the team to victory, assuring that every player is ready to give their best to advance into the semi-finals.
“We believe we can beat them and that is why we are appealing to the supporters to come and cheer us on, and God willing, on Saturday we will win the match for them,” Yeboah added.
The MTN FA Cup quarter-final match between Aduana FC and Techiman Liberty will be played on Saturday, March 14.
The tie is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
