One of the victims who was on the verge of death was said to have mentioned Sang as the one who shot her and nine others in the chieftaincy disturbances of February 9 which led to the death of children and women.
Though Northern Regional Police Command is yet to officially comment on the arrest, 3news.com has gathered some youth of the New Patriotic Party in Bimbilla massed up at the Nanumba-North District Police station to demand the release of Sang. But in view of the threat, the Police immediately transferred the suspect to the Northern Regional Police headquarters in Tamale where he is being held.
