Looming danger on Achimota overhead bridge

A portion of the Achimota overhead bridge has developed a large and deadly pothole which is exposing road users on that stretch to danger.

An open hole through which one can even see the road beneath the bridge is gradually enlarging as pieces of the concrete component of the structure breaks in bits and drops directly atop moving vehicles below the bridge.

Unsuspecting drivers using the bridge, sometimes drive through this pothole causing it to break further into pieces of stone either dropping directly onto the road or on top of moving vehicles.
