Daniel Opare commiserates with Sri Lanka over terror attack

Ghanaian defender Daniel Opare has expressed shock and sadness over the terrible attacks on several churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on the holy day of Easter.

The Royal Antwerp right-back commiserated with relatives of the victims in a tweet on Monday morning.

Bomb blasts rocked churches and luxury hotels on Easter Sunday, killing at least 290 people and injuring hundreds more.

Sri Lanka has declared a state of emergency will come into effect on Monday from midnight until Tuesday, according to a press release from the president’s media division.
