AFCON 2019: Ghana’s George Afriyie posted to Suez as Match Commissioner

Ghana’s former FA Vice President George Afriyie, and member of the AFCON Organising committee has been posted to Suez where he will have additional functions as match commissioner.

George Afriyie will supervise matches involving group D which includes Angola, Mali, Tunisia, and Mauritania

Mr. Afriyie who has been part of the AFCON organising committee since 2017 joined other football administrators in a CAF organised training for Match Commissioners.

The experienced football administrator has been part of Ghana’s football top hierarchy since 2005, and held many top positions including leading the Black Stars to the final of the 2015 AFCON. Read Full Story
