Black Meteors defender Habib Mohammed is anticipating a ‘tough game’ against hosts Egypt on Monday evening in the ongoing U23 Africa Cup of Nations.
Habib struck late to rescue a point for Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side in their opening Group A match against Cameroon on Friday.
Ahead of tonight’s must-win game against the Olympic Pharaohs, the Asante Kotoko guardsman is confident the Black Meteors will come away with a victory.
“We are going to face a tough opponent in our next game, but with hard work and determination, it’s 100 percent possible we can beat them,” Habib told ClubconsultAfrica.org.
“They are the host so we expect the fans to rally behind them. But that do not scare us. We are ready to make Ghana proud.”
The match is scheduled to kick off at 8pm local time (6pm GMT) at the Cairo International Stadium. Read Full Story
