EC official Yussif Ayuba dies in car crash

A former assistant Head of Communications at the Electoral Commission, Alhassan Yussif Ayuba, has died in an accident Friday dawn.

Mr. Ayuba who is now the Bole District Electoral Officer died together with his driver in the crash which occurred on the Tamale road.

Reports say Mr. Ayuba had gone for electoral materials for the upcoming district assembly polls from Tamale and was returning to his base when the crash occurred.
