David Moyes continues to suffer from mild symptoms of coronavirus but West Ham are in the rudest of health.
After demolishing Wolves in Moyes’ absence last week, they wrecked Leicester’s hopes of winning four in a row and climbing for the top of the Premier League.
First-half goals from Michail Antonio and Pablo Fornals put them in control and Jarrod Bowen grabbed the third, on the break eight minutes from time, to extinguish Leicester’s hopes of a late comeback.
Leicester, having scored a dozen goals in their first three Premier League outings and five at Manchester City, rarely tested Lukasz Fabianski.
Jamie Vardy seemed certain to score when he was clean through with only Fabianski to beat in the last minute but he scooped the ball wide.
Moyes will follow the advice of the experts and stay away until he is back to normal but he must be enjoying watching his team from the comfort of home.
