Former President Mahama
The Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sofo Awudu Azorka has likened former President John Mahama to a ‘Saint’.
According to the NDC chairman, Ghanaians are lucky to have the opportunity of Mahama again as president in 2020 to rescue the country from President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government.
Former President Mahama officially declared his intention of contesting in the 2020 general elections after availing himself for the NDC flagbearership race.
Speaking in an interview, Mr Azorka indicated that the NDC and former President Mahama was ready to save the country from the ‘mess’ the Nana Akufo-Addo-led administration had created since assuming office.
The National Vice Chairman of NDC pointed out that “former President Mahama is coming to complete the rest of the work he left uncompleted; in 2020 .I’m appealing to Ghanaians not to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because they have created hardship in the country and using the free Senior High School to cover their misdeeds.
“The government is using the free Senior High School policy to deceive Ghanaians that the economy is booming when it is the opposite with people losing their jobs and dying of hardship and hunger.”
