Tungurahua, also known as "Throat of Fire", erupts in Ecuador
Tungurahua, a 5,023-meter volcano located in the Cordillera Oriental of the Andes of central Ecuador, erupted on Friday, spewing a huge column of molten rock and ash that surged six miles above the volcano's crater following two strong explosions.
