Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay, says one of her wishes was to collaborate with the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.
She made the revelation in an interview on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness show on Tuesday.
According to the “Bedroom Commando” hitmaker, Bullet wanted them to jump on a song together before Ebony met her untimely death.
“It was very hard [on me]. The plan was to work with her. We had to collaborate. If we supported each other it would have been easy. I am being groomed more like an Afropop artiste and not a dancehall singer so there would’ve been no conflict at all,” she told show host Ohemaa Woyeje.
Wendy is currently promoting her new song dubbed, “Astalavista”.
