Ghana Premier League: Ten-man Kotoko share honours with Great Olympics

It was a tense game in the first half as Kotoko dominated play but they lacked firing power upfront.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were held to a 1-1 draw game with Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Both teams went into the game from the backdrop of a win – Kotoko won 1-0 at Tema Youth while the Accra based side beat Chelsea 1-0.

It was a tense game in the first half as Kotoko dominated play but they lacked firing power upfront.

Great Olympics on most occasions relied on counter-attack but the Kumasi giants looked resolute at the back. The two teams failed to hit the back of the net in the first department.

Five minutes after the break, Kwame Boateng stunned his former side as he shot Great Olympics into the lead with a fine finish.
