Emmanuel Eboue has been tested positive of the Human Immune Virus (HIV) according to reports making rounds in the Turkish media.
The Ivorian defender had agreed a one-year deal with a Northern Cypriot outfit, after going through a 12-month frustrating moment of serving a ban for failing pay a former agent.
However, Tekin Birinci, Emmanuel Eboue’s agent has confirmed there are complications with the health of the former Arsenal defender in a socia post and added that they have referred the matter to England for further medical check-ups to ascertain the severity of his player’s health.

“Unfortunately it is true that we are facing some medical problems about Eboue but it is not right to make any comments at the moment,” Birinci confirmed the news on social media
“Tonight he will go to England and tomorrow will make the necessary medical check ups so we will know how serious it is.”
Eboue wanted to harm himself in 2016 during the torrid time he went through, but his family stood by him to overcome it.
The Ivorian later revealed: “There are a lot of days when I don’t feel like getting out of bed.
“One day I wanted to kill myself. My family keep me strong, it’s them I have to think about but if I was alone, I worry about what I’d have done to myself by now.”
Emmanuel Eboue, 34 had a seven year spell with Arsenal, before joining Galataray in the Turkish league.
