NPP Government: Nana Addo fires Ghana Telecom University President

The Minister of Communications Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful thanked Prof Darkwa for his dedicated service to the University and the nation as a whole.

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sacked the President of Ghana Telecom University College Nana Prof. Osei Darkwa.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Minister of Communications Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.

The Minister thanked Prof Darkwa for his dedicated service to the University and the nation as a whole.

 

She, however, stated that an interim management team has been appointed to handle the affairs of the University until a substantive President and a governing board are appointed.

The substantive President and a governing board will be appointed by President Akufo-Addo.
