Porcupine Warriors: This is how much Kotoko pocketed after beating Hearts of Oak

Kotoko took away the GHC50, 000 prize money as Champions of the 2017 MTN FA Cup competition.

The Ghanaian giants defeated Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the finals to clinch the trophy for the 9th time.

Striker Saddick Adams was the hero for the Porcupine Warriors as he got a hat-trick in the first half which ultimately dashed Hearts of Oak’s hopes of winning the title.

The Reds as a prize money received the mammoth GHC50, 000 as Champions of the competition.

Kotoko thus wins their second FA Cup title in three years having won the trophy in 2014 when they defeated Inter-Allies in the finals.
