MTN FA Cup: This is why attendance for the Hearts-Kotoko game was low

Supporters were directed to buy tickets using their MTN mobile

Fans were required to buy tickets for the Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FA Cup  final with their MTN mobile money.

The Tamale Sports Stadium was not filled to capacity like the usual clashes between these giants.

Information gathered by Pulse Sports indicates fans were not allowed to buy tickets from the gates, but were required to only get tickets through their MTN mobile money.

And the complex nature prevented plenty people from trooping to the stadium to watch the two most glamourous clubs play and that played part in the low attendance for the game.

In the game Saddick Adams scored a hat-trick to inspire Asante Kotoko whip Accra Hearts of Oak 3-1 and eventually won the MTN FA Cup for 2017.
