Fire has razed down a portion of the Kumasi Central Market in the Ashanti Region.
The fire started around the footbridge behind Hello FM where the traders sell floor carpets spreading to other stores.
Clothes and different kinds of leather used for making shoes and carpets have been burnt to ashes.
Fire fighters have managed to douse the fire whilst the traders and store owners are spotted wailing.
The cause of the fire is not known yet.
Meanwhile, Police have blocked all roads leading to the area.
