Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tamale North constituency, Alhassan Suhuyini has described as depressing, devastating and heartbreaking the state of damage caused by flood disaster yesterday in the Northern regional capital Tamale where 3 people were killed and several others uprooted from their homes.
Alhaji Suhuyini who toured parts of the areas in his constituency hard hit by the disaster bemoaned failure of National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in the region to provide immediate aid packages for the victims.
Ultimate News’ Eliasu Tanko reported that the lawmaker visited families of deceased and promised to collaborate with colleagues Members of Parliament (MPs) and Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to assist the people reorganise.
He also paid a visit to a family of eight who were rescued by a local search parties and again to support them.
