The Akufo-Addo’s government will later today August 18, 2017 send relief items to Sierra Leone after the mud-slide that left over 300 persons dead and 600 missing in Freetown.
The items which are estimated to cost one million US dollars include: food, medicine, clothing etc.
A statement issued by the Minister of Information and Presidential Spokesperson Mustapha Hamid said the Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will on August 19, 2017 visit Sierra Leone to commiserate with the President Ernest Bai Koroma.
