NPP youth group in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti region has descended on the CEO of National Entrepreneurship and Innovative Plan (NEIP) lawyer John Kumah for attacking a member of the party Mr Ntim Twumasi Kwaku.
Lawyer Kumah is said to have verbally attacked the Chief Patron of Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of NPP during a media interview in Kumasi.
‘We feel embarrassed by the measure of scathing and disparaging remarks made by one Mr. Osei Kwaku, a supposed area coordinator of the NPP in the constituency, and a known lieutenant of Mr John Kumah against NTK on Nhyira Fm,’ the group said in a statement.
According to the group, the least they owe the disabled politician is gratitude and honor and not scale of libel.
‘This is a man-physically challenged-who without second thoughts doled out huge sums of money to sponsor the various youth wing campaign activities, sponsored the printing of party flags and t-shirts, provided the constituency youth wing with a branded truck for the 2016 electioneering campaign and cemented these efforts with a solemnly dedicated participation in all campaign tours across the entire constituency,’ the statement stated.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE STATEMENT ON THE RECENT ATTACKS ON NTK
We wish to express our resentment against the recent vituperative attacks on Mr Ntim Twumasi Kwaku’s person by the shameless fawning dependents of lawyer John Kumah, the CEO, National Entrepreneurship and Innovative Plan.
We feel embarrassed by the measure of scathing and disparaging remarks made by one Mr. Osei Kwaku, a supposed area coordinator of the NPP in the constituency, and a known lieutenant of Mr John Kumah against NTK on Nhyira Fm.
The follow-up press release on the same day, written and signed by an associate team of political mercenaries who apparently appear to have lost focus and direction, was even more damning. We wish to put on record that we, the youth wing of NPP in Ejisu Constituency, in all serenity and modesty, appreciate the enormous contributions made so far by NTK to the progress of our party, his unparalleled commitment to ensuring the success of the Nana Addo led administration and his care for humanity.
We will not countenance any attempt by any individual with the most distorted idea of political decency to malign him, heads up to anybody with such intentions.

You can feel his exuding passion to help the government succeed when you spot him in his wheel chair, carried up and down a two or three storey building just to communicate for the government and the party.
The least we owe this gentleman is gratitude and honor, but not that scale of libel.
We are by this press release imploring lawyer John Kumah to recall his attack dogs from the streets and lock them up in their cages. We have no doubts that he played a role in the party’s electoral victory, but whereas NTK was taking security risks by making his private residence available for high profile meeting of the constituency and regional ranking officials of the party, doling out huge amounts of money to sponsor the constituency’s campaign, he, Mr John Kumah, could not be located within the boundaries of the constituency. John Kumah is free to betray the trust and confidence the His Excellency, the president reposed in him by way of his appointment as CEO of NEIP, by using that outfit to satisfy his selfish desires rather than national interest.
But if he is so desirous of becoming the Member of Parliament for the Ejisu Constituency, he should know the level of decency required. We would like to apologize unreservedly to Mr. Ntim Twumasi Kwaku for the vile and malicious attempts by these individuals to draw him into the arena of filthy and disease prone politicking. We also wish to reassure him of our unflinching support for him in all his endeavors.
