National 1st Vice Chairperson hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Vida Agyekum Acheampong is urging the former President Dramani Mahama to stop criticizing Nana Addo’s government by tagging him “super incompetent”.
Former President Mahama has described the Akufo-Addo-led government as “super incompetent”.
According Mr. Mahama, the president has “loaded” his government with his relatives and tries to justify his decision of appointing them, although he criticized same when in opposition.
Meanwhile, Lawyer Vida Agyekum Acheampong commenting on former President Mahama statement in an interview with Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo after meeting TESCON executives in Ashanti Region said former president Mahama describing Nana Addo administration as ‘super incompetent’ is unfortunate.
According to her, former president Mahama should rather give thanks to Nana Addo’s government for solving his mess during his tenure and not to criticize his government.
Lawyer Vida Agyekum said Nana Addo’s government less than 2 years in power has done massive work for the good people of Ghana than NDC government 8 years in power.
“It is very unfortunate for former president Mahama to describe Akufo- Addo’s government as super incompetent. NDC government when in power messed Ghanaians economy. Akufo-Addo’s government less than 2 years in power has implemented good policy to transform former president Mahama mess. Free SHS, One-District-One- Factory, Nation Builders’ Corps, Planting for Food and Jobs are policies saving Ghanaians from hardship and creating billions of jobs for Ghanaians,” she said.
Meanwhile, Lawyer Vida Agyekum called on NPP party executives to support members at the grassroots especially members of TESCON who worked hard for the party to win power in the 2016 general elections.
