Alisa Hotels Group has rounded off 2025 with significant industry recognition and expansion milestones, reinforcing its position within Ghana’s hospitality and tourism sector.
The group received two major awards during the year — the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) Hospitality Hotel Award and the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Award for Best Company in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector (Four-Star Hotel category). The honours highlight the group’s commitment to service excellence, quality delivery and international hospitality standards.
As part of efforts to enhance guest experience, Alisa Hotels undertook a series of refurbishments in 2025. Notably, the Pegasus Wing was remodelled with new furnishings, refreshed interiors and redesigned corridors and walkways.
The hotel group also deepened its investment in business and events tourism. Key additions include an ultra-modern pavilion with a capacity of up to 800 guests, depending on seating arrangement, and two fully air-conditioned dome facilities designed to accommodate diverse events. The domes are available for rental at client-selected locations and are supported with outside catering options. Additional event infrastructure includes a lighted dance floor and a high-resolution LED screen measuring 21 feet by 9.6 feet.
On the expansion front, Alisa Hotels strengthened its footprint with the opening of the 50-room Alisa Hotel Tema and commenced development of Alisa Hotel Heritage at North Ridge, an 80-room facility targeted at corporate travellers, airline crew and long-stay guests.
In line with sustainability objectives, the group transitioned to the use of glass water bottles in guest rooms and conference facilities. It also maintained its international certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety).
Beyond its hospitality operations, Alisa Hotels contributed to community development with a GH¢50,000 donation to the Ga Mantse Foundation in support of the annual Kinka Blonya Kids Party.
Looking ahead to 2026, the group is expected to focus on strengthening partnerships, expanding its portfolio and sustaining high standards in hospitality service delivery.
