GAIA AFRICA, the continent’s premier private members’ club
for women leaders, has entered the final weeks of its 2025/2026 Member Season, with applications closing on February 15 2026.
The current member season, shaped around The Unbowed — GAIA AFRICA’s storytelling
series spotlighting the lived experiences and leadership journeys of some members —
reflects the depth, ambition, and shared values that define the GAIA AFRICA community.
Speaking on the final phase of the season, Olatowun Candide-Johnson, Founder & CEO of GAIA AFRICA, said: “At GAIA AFRICA, every member strengthens the fabric of who we are, a powerful Community of women who lead with purpose, authenticity, and depth. As we welcome a new season of prospective members, The unbowed series offers a glimpse into the extraordinary GAIA women, and the power of Community when women gather intentionally.”
Membership at GAIA AFRICA offers access to a purpose-built environment designed for connection, collaboration, and elevation. Members benefit from leadership development
initiatives, cross-industry relationships, business and investment opportunities, and
culturally resonant programming — all within a safe and refined space created for women
who lead.
Through ‘The Unbowed’, audiences have gained a rare glimpse into the calibre of GAIA Women — women whose stories of resilience, reinvention, and excellence reflect the ethos of the community itself.
As the season draws to a close, the series underscores what membership represents: belonging, access, privilege and the power of purpose.
Applications for the 2025/2026 Member Season close on February 15. Submissions
received after this date will be put on the waiting list for consideration during the next member season.
