Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has emphasised that his team will not underrate Eleven Wonders in mid-week when the two teams lock horns in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors will be in Accra on Wednesday, December 24, to take on Wonders in their Week 15 clash of the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Karim Zito described the fixture as a tricky one, stressing that Kotoko cannot underrate Eleven Wonders because of their struggles this season.
“It’s very tricky because this is a league we are playing and we cannot underrate anybody. We must stay focused to achieve our objective,” the coach told AKSC Media.
Karim Zito added, “Throughout this week, we didn’t give the place any chance. We are tuning our minds that every match Kotoko plays is a difficult match.
“I think it's unfortunate that we are not winning many away matches. The league is still in existence, so there is no need for calculations now. We are still staying focused on our objective, that we need to win the league.”
Wednesday’s fixture between Eleven Wonders and Asante Kotoko is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm.
