Head coach of Dreams FC Wilfred Dormon has expressed his disappointment following defeat against Bibiani Goldstars in the Ghana Premier League.
The Miners recovered from 2-0 down to beat visiting Dreams FC 3-2 in Week 16 thriller at Dun's Park on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
“It was a decent game. We started the game very high and managed to close the first half. In the second half, we did some tactical adjustment and our opponent also made some changes to their play. My disappointment was the red card, it really affected us. We didn’t defend well, we lost our shape and lost our discipline and conceded a late goal”
“I’m impressed with my boys’ performance but very disappointed with the results. To be fair, on the balance of play, at least we deserve something from this game. We were unlucky, they took their moment and won the match”
Salifu opened the scoring just six minutes into the game and added a second for Dreams FC in the 20th minute to give the visitors a well-deserved lead.
The defending champions responded after recess as they halved the deficit on 74 minutes and pulled level late on.
The pressure paid off as the hosts struck at the death to secure a dramatic victory and remain in fifth place in the league standings with 20 points.
Dreams FC's disappointment on the road continues as they are yet to secure an away win. The defeat means Winfred Dormon's team drop to 15th in the league table and will look to bounce back when they host Basake Holy Stars.
Gold Stars host second-placed Medeama SC next as Fritz Schmid seeks to make it two wins on the spin.
