Aduana FC coach CioabÄ AristicÄ has revealed he will need five new signings to win the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
The two-time Premier League champions currently sit 3rd on the league log with 29 points, behind Medeama and Asante Kotoko, who are both on 30 points.
Aduana came from behind to draw 2-2 with Young Apostles on Sunday in the Matchday 16 games at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.
"You know I have injuries. One central defender, our captain Alex Boakye, is injured, and the quality that replaces him is not the same. The same is happening in our midfield, where Seidu Saana was suspended and is also injured," AristicÄ said after the game.
"The striker, (Emmanuel) Marfo, who is our top scorer with six goals and is very important to us."
The Romanian trainer further said the current squad is not good enough to fight for the title.
"I gave one clear message to our management before this game. I told them that I needed some positions filled because if we go with this squad, I will not have a chance of winning the league title."
"I tell the truth, and if the management listens and brings the five players for the positions that I need, it is possible to fight for the top (spot). If they do not listen to me, I will not have the team to go and fight for the league title," he concluded.
Aduana will hope to keep their title push intact when they host Vision FC in the Matchday 17 games at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday.
