Ghana duo Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku were on target for Leicester City on Monday night, powering the side to a hard-fought 2-1 victory over West Brom in the English Championship.
In a Round 16 fixture played at the King Power Stadium, Ayew opened up the scoring after just 18 minutes into the first half, showing great desire to convert a cut-back pass from Jordan James.
Before halftime, West Brom pulled parity in the 34th minute through a composed finish from Karlan Grant.
After the recess, both Leicester City and West Brom gave their all in a bid to amass all three points.
Late in injury time, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku decided the contest, scoring after he was set up by Stephy Mavididi to secure a 2-1 victory for Leicester City.
Ayew, 34, after his contribution today, now has one goal and one assist in 2026.
Issahaku, who continues to shine for the Foxes, has his first goal in 2026, increasing his tally of goals in the 2025/26 Championship campaign to five.
