Hearts of Oak has debunked widespread reports suggesting a change in the club’s top management, insisting that Dr Delali Anku-Adiamah remains the substantive Managing Director of the club.
Reports and rumours have intensified within the Ghanaian football space recently that Julius Ben Emunah, who has resigned from his role at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to replace Dr Anku-Adiamah as Managing Director of the Phobians.
However, the club's Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, has strongly dismissed the reports, describing them as inaccurate and misleading.
According to him, there has been no vacancy in the Managing Director role at the club.
“Our Managing Director still remains Dr Delali Anku-Adiamah. The position only becomes vacant once he is no longer serving in that role,” Opare Addo told Connect FM.
Julius Ben Emunah, who served as the Head of Competitions at the GFA, is a well-known football administrator in Ghana. His administrative journey includes a stint as General Secretary of the Western Region Football Association in 2016.
