Ghanaian teen sensation, Ransford Amoo has signed his first professional contract at Danish club Vejle Boldklub.
The forward signed a four-year deal on his 18th birthday to join Superliga side from Ghanaian club True Life FC.
Despite joining the club battling for survival, the young forward is expected to play a huge role in the rest of the campaign.
"I am really happy about my first professional contract, and that it is with Vejle Boldklub. I have been faced with a big choice for my career, and there have been several opportunities for me, but with the development plan and the sporting set-up that I have been presented with here at the club, it was not a difficult choice," he said.
"During my stay here in Vejle, I have received a thorough introduction to the way the club works and to how the coaches see me playing a role," he added.
Sporting Director of the club, Mikkel Hemmersam believes the talented forward is a right fit for the team.
"Ransford Amoo is a young offensive player who, in terms of his skills and expression, fits very well into the way we want to play football here at Vejle Boldklub. He has some exciting 1:1 skills, he can go both ways with both feet, and he has speed that makes him a threat in the back room both with and without the ball," he said.
